PhD, historian, researcher of memory and refugee movements. He works in the European Research Council project "Unlikely refuge?" at the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague on a book about the early-war exile of Jews in Poland (1939–1940). In 2020, together with Katharina Friedla, she published Siberiad Jews of Poland, and in 2022, among others. Whose Victims and Whose Survivors? The Memory of Polish-Jewish Wartime Exiles in the USSR in "Holocaust and Genocide Studies" and Poland, a Country of Refuge: Revisiting the Historiography Patterns of Migration in "Zeitschrift für Ostmitteleuropa-Forschung".
