Abstract
Premiera filmu Azyl w reżyserii Niki Caro nie mogła w Polsce trafić na lepszy politycznie moment. Marzenia decydentów o tym, aby powstał – cytując ministra kultury i dziedzictwa narodowego Piotra Glińskiego – „dobry, wielki polski film patriotyczny, który promowałby Polskę na świecie”, zostały wpisane na listę politycznych i propagandowych celów rządu Prawa i Sprawiedliwości. O ważności tego planu niech świadczy to, że już w październiku 2015 r. prezes Jarosław Kaczyński deklarował zebranie pieniędzy „na jeden lub dwa wielkie, hollywoodzkie filmy, które pokażą, jak naprawdę wyglądała wojna w Polsce”.
